IN OWEN SOUND - Public Works is closing 5th Street East circle from 701-735 5th Street East for sewer repairs
Wellington Road 109 (Elora Street South) in Harriston will be closed from Highway 89 (Arthur Street) south to Mill Street. Later in the summer, the closure will extend to Young Street on a date to be confirmed.
There will be alternating lane closures on Highway 21 from the Sauble River to Bruce Road 14 for construction.
There is one lane closure on Highway 21 from Joshua Crescent to Craig Street at Saugeen First Nation for construction.
IN OWEN SOUND -- 3rd Avenue East will be closed to through traffic between 18th Street East and Malibu Hill from Monday May 25th until the fall for reconstruction. So the East Bayshore bus will detour south at 27th Street East, back along the normal route to the bottom of St. Mary's hill and then north to the north end of the Bayshore Arena north parking lot. From there it will return on its normal route back to the Transit Terminal.
IN OWEN SOUND -- 8th Street East will be closed to through traffic between 4th Avenue East and 8th Avenue East from April 6th until the fall for reconstruction.
Due to 8th Street East closure between 4th Avenue East and 8th Avenue East in Owen Sound -- the Crosstown Bus route will be temporarily altered.
In order to avoid construction, the Crosstown bus will detour south on 8th Avenue East, west on 6th Street East, north on 4th Avenue East and then back on to the normal route to the Transit Terminal.
No additional stops will be included on the detour route.
