A light run of stocker and feeder cattle sold on active demand with price increases of up to 5 cents per pound, while cull cows and bulls sold slightly higher.
Steer calves weighing up to 600 pounds sold from $1.20 to $2.40, while heifers sold to $2.12.
Steers weighing 600-800 pounds sold from $1.97 to $2.90 while heifers sold to $1.93.
Steers weighing 800-1000 pounds sold to $2.09 while heifers sold from $1.16 to $1.39.
Cull cows sold from 69 to 77 cents while bulls sold to .71 cents.
At the calf, sheep and goat barn 167 dollar calves were on offer, selling easier.
Holstein male calves weighing 100 to 150 pounds sold up to $295 per head.
There were 50 sheep and goats on offer.
Market lambs weighing 65-79 pounds sold to $3.35 per pound while Nubian Billy Goats sold up to $310 per head.
The next sale is Feb. 27th.
The small animal sale will resume in March.
