At the Keady Livestock Market on Tuesday November 28th, 545 head of steers, heifers, cows and bulls were on offer.
All classes of stocker and feeder cattle sold steady, while cull cows sold slightly easier with quality considered.
Steer calves weighing up to 600 pounds sold from $2.20 to $2.94, while heifers sold to $2.37.
Steers weighing 600-800 pounds sold from $1.90 to $2.35 while heifers sold to $1.75.
Steers weighing 800-1000 pounds sold to $1.92 while heifers sold from $1.17 to $1.79.
Cull cows sold from 49 to 77 cents while bulls sold to 79 cents.
At the calf, sheep and goat barn 84 dollar calves were on offer, selling slightly higher.
Holstein male calves weighing 100 to 150 pounds sold up to $320 per head.
There were 211 sheep and goats on offer.
Market lambs weighing 50-64 pounds sold to $2.92 per pound while Nanny Goats sold up to $175 per head.
At the small animal sale, Cochins Poultry sold to 5 dollars per bird while Blue Call Ducks topped at 8.
Jersey Giant Rabbits stopped at 6 dollars a piece while Pheasants sold to 10.
