Broke, Sore & Deflated, Fred Wallace Returns
Hi, this is Fred Wallace with " Off the Wire ".
I've said this MANY times before.....................I'm tired.
Over the last 2 weeks I've been in Toronto, at the Flamingo Hilton & Mirage in Las Vegas, at Mosaic in Collingwood, in Midland for a day, at Hepworth & now finally back here at my desk in Owen Sound.....and I'm tired.
I flew West Jet " where they never overbook ".....just don't count on having any space to put your carry on into......I'm tired.
In Las Vegas, I blew a bundle of cash, most notably the night Coghlan jumped over Molina, Cecil threw it down the right field line and the Cardinals couldn't get Stroman out in his first big league at bat.....I'm tired, very tired.......and poor.
I climbed one of the slopes at Blue Mountain last week. It was a gorgeous view from the top...but my bottom is aching from the quicker-than-expected descent of the hill....I'm tired....and very sore.
I watched the Attack go down valiantly to Erie, I saw the Raptors get smoked over and over by Cleveland, and I tried to listen to 6 Federal Conservative candidates while the aroma of a broiling pig wafted through the Hepworth Legion.
Oh...and I went to the Dean brody-James Barker Band concert last night....so, I'm tired.....very, very tired.
I'm Fred Wallace
