Today and Days Gone By..

Familiar Names play Exhibition Game

Hi this is Fred Wallace with Off the Wire

Time moves along whether we're talking about sports or life.

Take that hockey game last night near Montreal where the U Sport entry faced the Canadian Junior team hopefuls.

Netminder Michael McNiven of the Owen Sound Attack is attempting to land a position in the Canadian crease.

If he does, he'll join Owen Sound alumni Jordan Binnington and Jamie Storr as National netminders.

Did Jamie Storr last play here 21 years ago ?

And did you catch the names on the U Sport team ?

Nathan Chiarlitti. He holds the Attack record for plus-minus in a season at + 41.

Holden Cook. While he wasn't part of the Championship playoff run, he did score his first OHL goal the year the Attack took the title.

And Geoffrey Schemitsch...he was only part of the greatest moment in Owen Sound Attack history

Time flies.

I'm Fred Wallace
