The Waiting Game

Indians Face Cubs in World Series

Hi this is Fred Wallace with " Off the Wire " brought to you by your local Auto Logic, the Logical Choice.

The 2016 World Series begins tomorrow night in Cleveland with the Indians hosting the Chicago Cubs at Progressive Field.

Cleveland has home-field advantage for the series by virtue of the American League's 4-2 win in the All-Star Game at San Diego in July.

For Cleveland, this is their World Series appearance since 1997, with their last Championship coming in........... 1948.

The Cubs are seeking their first World Series title since................. 1908.

Meanwhile on the outside sit the Toronto Blue Jays and their band-wagon jumping fan base.

After being somewhat ignored for decades, the last 2 seasons have seen Blue Jay fans pop up like dandelions in May- all at once they're everywhere.

But Jays fans will have to be patient no matter what off season moves transpire.

If Cleveland fans can wait since 1948 and Cub fans can wait forever, certainly Blue Jay fans can continue to wait....just ask Leaf fans.

I'm Fred Wallace
