Cross Country Season

Coyote Meet Launches Elementary Sequence

Hi this is Fred Wallace with " Off the Wire " brought to you by your local Auto Logic, the Logical Choice.

The leaves change, the days and nights get cooler and kids go back to school- all sure signs that we're into Fall.

If you wrap leaves, temperature and kids together in bundle, the finished product for Fall is Cross Country meets.

At the elementary school level there's a number of great meets for youngsters.

The first one of note for me, is this Saturday at Meaford as the Coyotes host their annual race at Georgian Bay Secondary utilizing the field and the surrounding woodlands.

I fully expect members of the Coyotes to win the various divisions, simply because they train almost year round and by Fall, they're in peak shape.

Meanwhile, the two Bluewater Elementary meets will go back to back again this year.

The Bob Atkinson Memorial Bluewater West Meet is October 12th at Saugeen Bluffs, near Paisley

And the following day, Wednesday October 13th, the Bluewater East Meet goes at 4th Canadian Division Training Centre near Meaford.

It's Fall and for elementary school athletes, it's cross country season

I'm Fred Wallace
