Attack-Bulldogs or Lightning-China
Hi this is Fred Wallace with " Off the Wire " brought to you by your local Auto Logic, the Logical Choice.
There's an interesting choice for hockey fans on Wednesday night.
In Owen Sound, there's the much anticipated return of Connor Roberts with the Hamilton Bulldogs of the Ontario Hockey League as they meet the Attack at 7 pm at the JD McArthur Arena.
Meanwhile at the Mount Forest & District Sports Complex on Wednesday evening, there's a unique women's hockey matchup as the Saugeen Maitland Lightning face the touring Chinese National Women's team.
This is the third consecutive year for the Lightning to go against the Chinese team, with China coming out on top 3-1 and 3-2 in the previous meetings at Wingham.
The venue has been changed to Mount Forest for this year's game, which is partially a tribute to a burgeoning Rams hockey program that has close to 10 Girls teams operating.
Plus, Mount Forest is a geographic middle ground for the Saugeen Maitland program which attracts players from a wide region.
Previously, this matchup has attracted over 1,000 fans and tickets are available in advance at Ideal Supply in Mount Forest and at the door on game night.
