Bluewater Fastball League Tournament Starts Tonight

Length:

Hi, this is Fred Wallace with " Off the Wire ", brought to you by your local Auto Logic, the Logical Choice.

The Bluewater Fastball League wrapped up their regular season Tuesday night and in short order, the League Playoff Tournament commences tonight at Chepstow.

There's one game slated for this evening, the 8-9 game pitting the Chepstow Aces against the Saugeen Thunderbirds with the winner advancing to face the 1st place Durham Dodgers tomorrow night.

The Durham game is one of 4 contests set for tomorrow night.

At 7 pm, the North Division Champion Wiarton Nationals meet the Owen Sound Junior Selects while the Tara Merchants face the Elmwood Smoke

Then at 9 pm tomorrow night, the West Division champion Port Elgin Blue Devils take on the Owen Sound Senior Selects while the Dodgers will go against the winner of tonight's Chepstow-Saugeen match.

Over the course of the regular season, Durham, Elmwood, Wiarton and the Senior Selects all posted records far above .500 and each can make a legitimate claim that they're contenders for the title.

Who gets to the final will be largely determined by Saturday's action, all of which leads to the Championship Final Game Sunday afternoon in Chepstow at 2 pm

I'm Fred Wallace
