I know the Stanley Cup Playoffs in the NHL start tonight, and we'll deal with all of that tomorrow.
For today though, I want to focus on the Ontario Hockey League Conference Finals.
In the West, the Windsor Spitfires face the London Knights, whereas in the East, it's Belleville against Brampton.
In spite of a less than sterling performance to this point in the playoffs, I'll take the Windsor Spitfires to beat the Knights.
The madder the Spitfires get, the better they are, witness the poundings, when motivated, they put on the Plymouth Whalers.
The Knights by comparison, really haven't been tested, brushing by Erie and then sweeping Saginaw.
The intensity will be at the top of the chart for this series, and I like Windsor from almost every regard to eliminate London.
In the East, my choice is Belleville.
This by no means is a criticism of the Battalion who match up well with the Bulls.
I simply believe that Belleville has a 3 year track record at this time of the year, plus they have the best goalie in Murphy, the best offensive defender in Subban, the best player in the league at times with Tangradi and without question, the best defensive forward in Tanaka.
So, the call here is for a Windsor-Belleville Final in the OHL.
