Dudas nets hat trick to lead Owen Sound to fifth straight win

The Owen Sound Attack just keep on rolling.
Aidan Dudas scored two of his three goals as part of a four-goal third period outburst, as the Attack rallied from 4-2 down to go on to beat the Peterborough Petes 6-5 in Ontario Hockey League action at the Peterborough Memorial Centre Thursday night.
The Attack (24-19-2-5) won their fifth straight game and are just one point back the London Knights(26-20-2-2), Saginaw Spirit (25-18-6-0) and Guelph Storm (26-21-1-3) -- all tied for fourth in the Western Conference with 56 points.
Ethan Szypula added two goals for Owen Sound and Alan Lyszczarczyk also scored.
Logan DeNoble tallied twice for Peterborough, while Nick Roberston, Pavel Gogolev and Nikita Korostelev also scored for the Petes (18-28-3-3), which lost their 10th straight game.
The Petes led 4-2 heading into the third period before Owen Sound scored four unanswered to take a 6-4 lead.
Olivier Lafreniere made 34 saves in the win, while Dylan Wells stopped 34 taking the loss.
Owen Sound outshot Peterborough 40-39 while going 0 for 1 on the power play; the Petes finished 2 for 5.
The Attack continue their eastern road swing tonight against the Kingston Frontenacs.
