Sailors Look For Win Streak

The Goderich Sailors look to make it two wins in a row in Western Junior C hockey tonight as they host the league-leading Walkerton Hawks.

Brothers Scott and Jamie Miller scored in the second period to wipe out a 1-0 defIcit in Kincardine Friday night.

Brendan Thomson iced the 3-1 Goderich victory with an empty-net goal late in the third -- Jamie Miller and Brendan Dykxhoorn assisted.

The win coupled with a 6-2 Mount Forest loss to Wingham puts the Sailors within a point of the seventh-place Patriots.

The Sailors and Hawks face off at MRC at 8 PM.

Elsewhere in Western Junior C -- Hanover visits Mitchell and Mount Forest is home to Kincardine.
