Winterhawks Still Alive in WOAA Playoffs

It took overtime to do it, but the Saugeen Shores Winterhawks are still alive in their WOAA playoff series with the Lucknow Lancers.

Last night Bryan Kazarian scored 1:38 into the first overtime period to give the Winterhawks a 3-2 win over the Lancers.

Lucknow still leads the best of five series, 2-1.

Player of the game Shawn Walker says he feels the team is rolling now and good to go.

Walker says they just have to keep going at Lucknow goalie Erol Kahraman who has been hot for the past three games.

Other scorers for the Winterhawks were Ryan Dudgeon and Shawn Walker.

The next game is tonight in Lucknow.

Should a fifth game be necessary it will be played Sunday afternoon at the Plex at 2:30 PM.
